In Scenic (11.2.07 - 12.8.07), Dorota Kolodziejczyk's intricately layered acrylic on canvas paintings renegotiate the boundaries between abstract and representational painting. Kolodziejczyk received her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in 2001 and has exhibited in various solo and group exhibitions in and around New York, receiving critical acclaim by art critics in The New York Times, The Village Voice and Art in America.
Kolodziejczyk lives and works in New York;
