BLOW ME AWAY
works on paper by
brian chippendale | christopher davison | jungil hong

Blow Me Away (March 7 – April 19, 2008) is an exhibition of works on paper by young artists who create imaginary worlds and creatures through their art. Apparently fantastical, these drawings, prints and other works on paper also explore the realities of our current times and our collective psyche.

Brian Chippendale is a co-founder of the critically-acclaimed underground art and performance movement in Providence, RI called Fort Thunder.

Jungil Hong was recently featured in the DeCordova Museum’s Annual Exhibition of 2007, a showcase of "some of the best, most innovative and gifted artists working in the region."

Kevin Hooyman exhibits his ink and watercolor drawings and artbooks throughout the U.S. and internationally. His works are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Christopher Davison recently received his MFA in printmaking at the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia.
